Setting Up a Trigger
- Go to Pipelines and open a pipeline.
- Click βοΈ Settings in the board header.
- Find the stage you want the trigger to move cards to.
- Click + Add Trigger on that stage's card.
- Select the trigger type from the dropdown.
- Save. The trigger is now active for this pipeline.
Triggers are entity-type aware. A trigger on a Company pipeline will only fire for company events, not person events. This prevents cross-contamination between pipelines.
Manual Trigger (Fire Trigger Button)
You can also fire a trigger manually from the client's CRM page. On the Person or Company detail page β Workflow tab β click β‘ Fire Trigger β select the trigger type. Useful for testing or handling edge cases.
Each stage can have up to 2 triggers. If a card doesn't exist yet when a trigger fires, DarkLion will automatically create one in the target stage β you don't have to add clients to a pipeline before triggering.
